He always a part South African Music Conference(SAMC) since 2007 he met international Dj’s Like Frank Roger, Osunlade etc & also met other local producers like Dj Kent, Culoe De Song and more. He also performed on our Presidents (Mr Jacob Zuma) birthday party in La Lucia in 2010 & also performed on the 2010 world cup all over South Africa
His love for music deepened and he started concentrating on his programming skills with the inspiration of local and internationals dj’s such as Frank Roger ( France), Spinner(UK) and many more.
Early in 2008 he met Makhosini Xaba (Joe Nina) and they then started working on Dumile’s album titled Dumile “The Rocker” - Stage 1 which was released in November 2008 with the hits like Ungowami, Mnganiwami, Je t’aime (Paris) and many more. It is a privilege and honor to Dumile to work with Joe Nina under Killa Joe Records situated in Johannesburg now & the went to Ghana & Swaziland to promote Stage 1 Album.
He is now working on his 2nd album with a hit single GIVE ME GOOD LOVE Ft Lee Ann King & he is working with South African top producers like Dj Clock, Dj Mbuso, Stax & Jerah. He has been working with Dj Siyanda since 2002 doing gigs 2geda, djying together until present. For his 2nd album he will also going to work with underground new producers as well to show their talent.
2.2 How had the internet changed your relationship with and to music and the industry?
The internet gives dj’s / producers and the consumers a directly link in terms of communication through online marketing and social media.
3. which countries have you visited through being booked and which is your favorite?
I went to Ghana & Swaziland, definitely I enjoyed Swaziland so I can say it my favorite.
4. What is the key ingredient in a track according to you? breakdown? Style of production? Bassline?
It the approach to the track production including instruments, vocal, arrangement & the melody also plays an important part on a record.
