6 What is your musical background?
A: My ears... well they take in everything, advanced enough to separate the good from bad. I'm the only musician in my family, officially the first. My passion for music made me curious as this lead to me studying Popular Music (2006), graduated as an Audio engineer in 2010

A: I prefer creating from single hits
5. What is the key ingredient in a track? breakdown? Style of production? Bassline?
A: Every element in the song is just as important. Personally the arrangement of your song is key - this can make or break ANY song. Vocal recording techniques play a vital role in a vocal track.
7. Do you mainly use analog or digital soft synth sources? Do you think analog makes a different?
A:I utilize both - for different sounds for different songs. I enjoy exploring, breaking boundaries, rules to bring forth new sounds. Analog makes a difference because it provides the richness of the unprocessed sound.
8. Any advice on monitoring? Quiet? Loud? Do you prefer flat and boring Speakers, headphones or Big, Phat and chunky monitors?
A: I want everything big, Size matters with this guy... I want that "phat" sound
9. what are the biggest barriers new producers face?
A: exposure, lack of self confidence, not empowering themselves with the music business, and giving up too soon. Music needs passions and THAT hustle
10. How important do you think it is to have your music mastered commercially? Can you do it yourself as effectively and what tools would you recommend?
A:It is very important because not everyone can master - and its the most crucial part in music production. I'm a sound engineer and blessed with THOSE ears. I highly recommend producers to trust their ears, get a second opinion (not friends), take the risk of testing the sound at a gig LOL, kidding - with different sound systems.
11. What do you believe is the secret to your success as a producer?
Passion, creativity, listening to other genres, keeping tabs on the world charts for inspiration, trusting your sound.
