1. Please tell me a little about yourself? Who is Femi natural-essence ?
I am a DJ and label owner from west London in the UK, I have been spinning on the London Underground House & Garage scene for the last 15 years . I have been blessed enough to play at wealth of events and parties for prestigious names of the industry such as - Defected, Pacha ,Garage Nation to name a few.
2. How did you get your start in the music business?
Like a lot of people started off playing on a number of pirate radio stations in the mid 90’s, From there I started to get work from a number of promoters and venues. Then went on to do my degree, which gave me a good grounding in the music business. It was very good environment to network and develop ideas. Many of my colleagues on the course have gone on to do good things in the industry, including Above and Beyond, The Feeling, Crosstown Rebels - Aidan Lavelle, Lynda Phoenix from Defected and of course Donovan Blackwood.
