Aycliffe Today Monthly | 5 @AycliffeToday WELCOME CONTENTS Welcome to the first official issue of Aycliffe Today Monthly. We launched the pilot of AT Monthly just before Christmas and we had some great feedback from readers. We hope you continue to enjoy this new community magazine as we look forward to what I think will be a really positive couple of years for the town. In this February issue, we bring you a story that we think is worth shouting about. We did a feature on Enterprise City in one of our business magazines last year, but we feel it’s a project that more people should know about – see pages 8 and 9. As always, Neighbourhood Police Team Sergeant Mark Edwards and his proactive beat team keep me regularly informed of what’s going on around the town. We publish Mark’s blogs and snippets of news on www.aycliffetoday.co.uk and In this issue of Aycliffe Today Monthly… we’ve rounded some of that up in our news pages (6 and 7) along with other news. We also bring you a round-up of local business news on pages 24 and 25 as Aycliffe Business Park gears up for another important year ahead. There are a number of other features covering a variety of subjects which hopefully make for interesting reading. But we always welcome constructive criticism as well as positive feedback, so please let us know your ideas and thoughts about potential features, and what you’d like to read in your community magazine. I hope you enjoy this issue. Cheers Martin Editor, Aycliffe Today COMPETITION WINNER!
