ing by AWCCI in Kabul
AWCCI with financial support of ILO (In-
ternational Labor Organization) conduct-
ed, “Start and Improve Your Business
(SIYB) Training Program” for the very first
time for females in Kabul from March 3
to March 11, 2019. The program consists
of 2 parts: (1) Generate Your Business
Idea (GYBI) and (2) start Your Business
(SYB). The program lasted for 8 days with
the participation of 45 women where
they worked on their business plans. The
objectives of this training were to ena-
ble the Afghan young females (potential
and existing entrepreneurs) to generate
business idea and start sustainable busi-
ness for better income and employment
generation. At the end of the program,
participants were happy with the train-
ing program and mentioned that holding
such programs will be effective not just
for entrepreneurship, but also for busi-
nesses in different sectors.
AWCCI is thankful to ILO for their finan-
cial and technical support for conduct-
ing this training program with AWCCI to
young Afghan women and girls.
