2 TRAINING Deploy an active shooter training center using BallistiCrete to train the public, law enforcement and security professionals. An active shooter is an individual who is actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people. In most cases active shooters use a firearm(s) and display no pattern or method for selection of their victims. Active Shooter incidents are increasing. The majority of the shootings take place in a business. Time is a huge factor in response tactics. 3 EXPOSURE Provide maximum exposure for our principal sponsor, GigaCrete through nationwide recognition and local product exhibit. HSFA will raise funds to build a state of the art, modular training facility using GigaHouse and GigaPanel, and fortified with GigaCrete, to demonstrate the power of this technology and provide a modern training environment for law enforcement, security professionals and the public. Civilians will receive basic classroom training for active shooter scenario response while security and law enforcement professionals receive advanced training from basic response maneuvers to live fire exercises. HSFA instructors have years of practical local and federal law enforcement experience and are experts in active shooter response. This facility will be built on HSFA’s two acre property in Clayton County, Georgia, USA, which is accessible to businesses, schools and agencies in the Metro Atlanta and surrounding area. This facility will house a BallistiCrete demonstration lab, where interested parties can learn about the product and its potential applications. This lab provides immediate and ongoing exposure for our principal sponsor, GigaCrete. Various courses will be provided free or at less than commercial prices. This facility will be open to the general public during specific hours for civilian classroom learning. A Public-Private Partnership. HSFA will leverage media and broadcasting opportunities in radio, television/cable, online and in print to promote its active shooter training facility and publish its annual active shooter training calendar. HSFA will provide maximum exposure in media, print, television, radio, on the web and will distribute materials and resources provided by GigaCrete to targeted audiences. HSFA will also use its extensive government (Law enforcement, DHS, DOD, etc.) network to help accomplish Mission 3. Finally, everywhere the HSFA Aware 2017 campaign logo goes, the GigaCrete logo will accompany it in print and online. GigaCrete will be the principal sponsor of Aware 2017, make a tax-deductible charitable contribution, and provide all the materials, information, resources, contacts, etc. possible to ensure campaign success.
