Christmas seems like a distant memory as we approach the end of our first half term of 2018! I am pleased to
report that according to the latest data collected from teachers in December, the vast majority of students in
Apollo House are working well in lessons, showing a very good attitude to learning. This is the key to making
good progress, and ultimately will lead to success in tests and exams.
Year 8 students will soon be making important decisions about their KS4 options and our Year 11 students
are now on the final stretch leading up to their GCSEs. If you feel like your child needs any further support or
if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact myself ([email protected]) or Miss
Hicks ([email protected]), our Student welfare Leader.
Please can I remind you to ensure that your child comes to school fully equipped for lessons (books, pencil
case, PE kit, etc…) and wears the correct school uniform (please see the school website for guidance) to
save any unnecessary issues which may prevent their learning.
