There must be a peculiar law of physics somewhere
that states 'the passage of time is inversely
proportional to the square of one's age', it certainly
doesn't seem like twelve months since I last wished
everyone a Happy New Year in our first edition of
2011 and here we are well into 2012.
Many things have happened over the past twelve
months, in particular we now have the new RPS
distinctions process in place under the title of
Multimedia and Narrative. Whilst this title may sound
peculiar to those of us who are more familiar with the
expression 'AV' please be assured that this new title
firmly encompasses Audio-Visual as we all understand it.
Although I was less than impressed when the original distinctions panel
was disbanded, I am now very firmly behind the changes and fully support
