One Question Answered & One Question Asked
I'm just about to replace my old computer with a new one, all available
computers excluding Mac's now seem to run Microsoft Vista operating
systems (Business version, Home Basic, Home Premium or Ultimate) and I
have been told by someone in PC World that my Photoshop CS2 will not run
under Vista, and that I will have to buy CS3 at about £600. Do you know if
this is correct? Best regards etc..... This genuine question from a regular
reader is quite typical of the numerous e-mails received. No doubt with
Christmas only recently behind us many other readers will also have had new
computer presents delivered by Father Christmas, perhaps they may also be
wondering about similar software compatibility issues. We all appreciate that
good quality authentic software is expensive, and the last thing needed just
after an expensive Christmas is to waste more money replacing perfectly
good software. We then also need to re-learn how to use it, and all because
of well intended misguidance or perhaps our own unwillingness to properly
investigate issues before buying new items. To answer our reader's query I'm
going to quote from an Adobe authoritative source document entitled "How
Adobe Products Support Windows Vista"
