AV News 193 - August 2013
A sequence used as an introduction to the Wilmslow Guild AV Group 'Fiesta'
had an interesting and humorous lead-in using manipulated Scrabble tiles
to arrive at the title. It would appear that all things are becoming possible in
PTE!
Next an interesting exercise that we at Mid-Thames have used in the past
as a competition theme, is to create a sequence using the same images and
soundtrack. However what was shown was done in one day at an AV
workshop and two interesting interpretations were shown entitled 'Footsteps
in the Forest' and ‘Autumn Walk’.
Jill and John have a small bear called 'Little Ted' who goes everywhere
with them and has adventures of his own, which naturally led to a few
amusing AV sequences. We were treated to two of them and what stood out
was the skill in scaling the images of this small bear with others that formed
part of each sequence.
What was also amusing was,
when Little Ted was riding on a
train in a lady's garden, it became
derailed but luckily he escaped
without injury or damage!
Finally Jill showed us her
beautiful sequence entitled 'The
Colour Thief' which rounded off
the Day and everybody departed,
some even clutching a raffle prize.
Mid Thames now look forward
to next season and if anybody is
interested in joining us, why not
