Yet another song interpretation, this time of a well known song, close-ups of money were intermingled with images of conspicuous high-spending. Basically a great idea, but at times the images didn’t match or keep pace with the music. John Pendleton’s ‘Mersey Ferry’ was a song and travelogue documentary. A very good mix of video and stills (with a purposely degraded video representing an earlier age changing to up-to-date colour) worked well if a little abruptly at times.
