The Nationals at Sutton Bonington

As previously announced the 17th
National AV Championships are to
be held over the weekend of the
16th - 18th September 2011 and will
return to Sutton Bonington, our
home for eleven Championships.
People like myself who have
attended every event since the 1st
in 1980 will have fond memories of
Sutton Bonington and it's now even
better than I remember.
The lecture theatre, restaurant
and bars have all recently been upgraded with bright new paintwork and
tasteful furnishings. And our
accommodation is totally different.
We are in the Costock Hall of
Residence, so new that it's not on
Google maps. It consists of single
study bedrooms and double studio
bedrooms all with en-suite facilities,
coffee and tea supplies and toiletries
pack. There is a limited number of
double rooms, so please book early
to avoid any disappointment.
Guests can expect an excellent
choice of food served in the
Rushcliffe restaurant, full English breakfast, buffet lunch and a three course
served evening dinner.
The Charnwood Lecture Theatre
where the formal judging will take
place is an excellent hall of
significant size and height, allowing
unimpeded viewing of sequences
with ample audience space. The 10
foot minimum screen width, Canon
1400 x 1050 HD projector and top
quality sound equipment will ensure
an experience you will not forget.
