La collection de prestige internationale conservera également pour la postérité 'Kingdom Come', 'Hungarian Train Dream', 'Christmas Eve', 'Among the Guns', 'Flutterings' et 'Striped Pyjamas'. Ce dernier montage fut créé avec son ami Ron Davies. En 2008, Peter m'avait invité dans le comté du Yorkshire pour participer au jugement du festival de Bradford. Nous garderons ma femme et moi l'accueil chaleureux de Peter et de son épouse dans sa coquette maison. Malgré la barrière de la langue et après une rivalité de nombreuses années, Peter était devenu un ami. Cette triste nouvelle nous a bouleversés, Peter nous quitte si tôt Heureusement son œuvre nous reste et j'espère que son travail sera encore longtemps apprécié en Angleterre mais aussi dans le monde international de l'audiovisuel. Nous présentons à son épouse et à toute sa famille nos sincères condoléances et nos respectueux sentiments. It was with great sorrow that I learnt of the passing away of Peter Coles. Peter started in international competitions about the same time as myself in 1986. Peter was a very talented author and a much-respected competitor. He had very many works to his name. At the time of his death, Peter had made 94 slide and digital sequences and was at the very top of the FIAP international classification. Peter loved working together with his many friends. From his numerous works, we will remember his many distinctions with sequences such as 'Motorway', 'Might Have Been' and 'In Memoriam', produced together with Colin Balls. The international prestige collection will also keep for posterity, 'Kingdom Come', 'Hungarian Train Dream', 'Christmas Eve', 'Among the Guns', 'Flutterings' and 'Striped Pyjamas'. The last named being produced with his friend Ron Davies. In 2008, Peter invited me to Yorkshire to sit on the jury of the Geoffrey Round Competition at Bradford. My wife and I will long remember the warm welcome we received from Peter and his wife Enid at their home. Despite the language difficulty and after many years of rivalry, Peter became a friend. The sad news leaves us in deep sorrow; Peter has left us too soon. Fortunately his works remain and I hope that they will be appreciated for a long time in Britain and also in the international field of audiovisual.
