Those north and south of the border welcomed Kate Brown LRPS CPAGB for the
first time to Ireland and welcomed back Keith Brown FRPS MPAGB APAGB FIPF
EFIAP for the Northern Ireland Photographic Association Audio Visual Festival,
which took place in Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre, Newtownabbey, Belfast on
19th and 20th February.
As usual, about fourteen from the Irish Photographic Federation travelled to
the event. We were treated on the Friday night to "And then there were two"
which included ten sequences by Keith, Kate and Keith & Kate. There was
great variety in their sequences. "LRPS - One L of a panel" by Kate is a
sequence that should be shown to every person applying for their distinctions
as to how the images are chosen and the reason behind the hanging of the
panel. I'd be amazed had Kate not got her LRPS! Keith showed "Imagine", and
"The Quiet One" and of course was wearing his Beatles tie! There was also a
sequence on "The City of Liverpool" - not a good night if you were a Manchester
