That message can be about anything you want. Maybe a 'Documentary' style
sequence that informs the viewer about something they may not know about. It
could be a 'Travelogue' taking the viewer to a particular location or event. A
humourous sequence that makes the audience laugh, or it could be conveying
emotions or feelings about something personal to you, the author.
In it's simplest form, an AV is just 'pictures to music', but with a narrative. The
viewer becomes involved and gains something from watching the sequence,
even if it is just to laugh for a few minutes. An AV shows your skill as a producer.
A Photo Harmony sequence on the other hand, is about displaying your single
images in a more pleasing form than the traditional 'one after the other as taken'
way. It allows you to group your images, to add some music to enhance the
viewing experience and make it more interesting to the viewer. But I would say,
that it is more about showing your skill as a photographer than a producer. Not
that you can get away with bad photography in an 'AV' - you can't!
Whichever form you choose, Photo Harmony or AV, there are some basic
guidelines that both should follow. Subject matter can be anything you want, but
