Dear friends and neighbors ,
Believe it or not , fall is almost here ! Soon , the hot days of summer will give way to cooler temperatures and you will see the telltale signs of fall – trees changing colors , crisper morning air , and cooler temperatures . The Park District continues to welcome the community back safely with even more programs for adults and children . There is still time to soak up some sun at Flick Aquatic Center through Labor Day . Take in nature ’ s colors with a round of golf at Glenview Prairie Club or Glenview Park Golf Club . And , don ’ t forget to buy your fruits and vegetables at the Glenview Farmer ’ s Market through October 23 .

New This Fall We ’ re excited to offer Days Off School Camp in collaboration with Wesley Child Care . Children will enjoy activities , open play , games and in-house fieldtrips . And , calling all kickball players ages 18 and older ! Dress up in Halloween costumes and participate in the first Halloween Kickball Tournament on October 30 at Roosevelt Park .
Community events are back in full swing ! Celebrate Historic Wagner Farm ’ s 20th anniversary on September 18 , stop by The Grove Folk Fest on October 3 , get your Halloween costumes ready for Park Center ’ s Spooktacular family-friendly celebration for ages 2-10 on October 22 and A Family Halloween at Wagner Farm on October 24 , plus more !
Glenview Park Foundation Supporting Our Community Since the Foundation ’ s inception , it has raised more than $ 2.3 million through donations and events for its mission of enhancing recreational opportunities in our community and helping make them accessible for all residents . Most recently , during the COVID-19 pandemic , the Foundation expanded its support for the Leisureship Fund with $ 63,825 for families to participate in learning and recreational opportunities they otherwise couldn ’ t afford . Thank you to the Foundation for their support .
