DAY 1 Darwin
Darwin is the kind of place that excites all your senses so you ’ ll enjoy the city tour taking in the sights and attractions that tell stories of the NT capital ’ s history . DAY 2 Darwin / Katherine
The ancient landscapes of Litchfield National Park are shaped by water , as you ’ ll fast discover when exploring this immense protected wilderness . Visit Florence Falls , then take a dip in the gin-clear pool of Wangi Falls , a dreamy setting enveloped by monsoon forest ( swimming is seasonal and opening is controlled by NT Parks ). The landscape is also shaped by enormous termite mounds , which are pure architectural feats .
DAY 3 Nitmiluk ( Katherine ) Gorge
The region ’ s main attraction is its stunning Nitmiluk ( Katherine ) Gorge , an awe-inspiring natural wonder featuring a series of gorges sculpted from ancient sandstone , offering breathtaking views and unique geological formations . DAY 4 Katherine / Kakadu National Park
Enjoy a morning dip in Katherine Hot Springs , which will have you relaxed in no time . Before venturing deep into Kakadu , stopover in the film-set like town of Pine Creek , where buildings date back to the heady gold rush days . In Kakadu , you ’ ll take a guided walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art at Burrungkuy ( Nourlangie ).
DAY 5 Kakadu National Park
For a different perspective , take an optional scenic flight over the park ( at extra expense ). Later see jaw-dropping rock art at Ubirr , some of which date back 20,000 years . This afternoon , enjoy a Yellow Water Billabong cruise and keep watch for saltwater crocs as they ply the waters . Top off your holiday sharing a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travellers .
DAY 6 Kakadu National Park / Darwin
Enroute back to Darwin , keep your eyes peeled for crocs lurking in the river crossings you pass by . You may also see them at Fogg Dam , where you will definitely witness a cacophony of birds as this is a twitcher ’ s paradise . The tour ends on arrival in Darwin .

DAY 1 Alice Springs
You are met on arrival at Alice Springs airport . Nestled between the MacDonnell Ranges , Alice Springs is an iconic outback town made famous by its rich pioneering history and enchanting ancient Indigenous culture . Venture out of the town to visit the spectacular Standley Chasm , where you can wind through the striking gorge between towering rock walls . This evening , look forward to a welcome dinner with your fellow travellers .
DAY 2 Alice Springs / Uluru
The Australian outback comes to life as you travel through rugged landscapes to Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park . First viewed by Europeans in 1872 , Uluru is one of Australia ’ s most famous and sacred sites . At the park ’ s Cultural Centre , you will learn about the Anangu culture and the natural environment . This evening , be thrilled by the acclaimed Field of Light , where more than 50,000 solar-powered stems illuminate the landscape .
DAY 3 Uluru
Rise early to witness the magnificent sunrise over Uluru followed by a guided tour around the base of this famous monolith , viewing ancient caves and fascinating Indigenous rock art sites . This afternoon , travel to Kata Tjuta ( the Olgas ) to take in the panoramic views of the domes and also walk into Walpa Gorge . DAY 4 Uluru / Kings Canyon
Travel to Kings Canyon , in the heart of Watarrka National Park , for an afternoon walk along Kings Creek to the canyon ’ s floor . Later , a special experience awaits at Kings Canyon ’ s Light Towers which transform colour as a celestial soundscape sets the scene .
DAY 5 Kings Canyon
Set off on a challenging Kings Canyon Rim Walk atop the canyon ’ s amazing sandstone walls . At the lookout , you ’ re rewarded with spectacular views of the canyon itself and along the way you ’ ll see the Garden of Eden with its waterhole and bright riverine vegetation . This afternoon an optional Karrke Indigenous experience is available ( at extra expense ).
DAY 6 Kings Canyon / Alice Springs
Return to Alice Springs where you visit the Alice Springs School of the Air which provides education to children in remote locations . Next , tour the Royal Flying Doctor Service Tourist Facility before joining new-found friends for a farewell dinner .
