Sandra Durbin is one of our newest faces around the Club . She joined our team as the Food and Beverage Director on May 2nd . She is originally from the Quad Cities in Illinois and has been residing in Lake Placid for the last 3 years . Sandra has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry with 20 of those years in food service management . She started off as a fine dining server at Rexie ’ s Gourmet House in the Quad Cities . She then quickly climbed her way up the ladder to fast casual management at Fazolies and then to full-service management with Bob Evans Farms . Sandra worked with Bob Evans as a GM for 14 years achieving Restaurant of the Year in sales increased in 2016 . From there she moved to Lake Placid where she worked at Beef O ’ Brady ’ s as the GM for 1 ½ years and then took on a new adventure as an operations manager opening a new restaurant in Lake Placid . She was inspired by her aunt and uncle to get into restaurant management , and she has really the opportunities and challenges that come along with it .
Sandra has three sons , six grandchildren , two great grandchildren and a third on the way . She is raising her grandson Derrick who is 8 years old and she has a 4-year-old Chihuahua named Alan Jackson . She enjoys spending time with her grandson and exploring Florida . Sandra just had a birthday July 15th . We are thankful for all of Sandra ’ s hard work in both the kitchen and restaurant . Make sure you say hi if you haven ’ t met her yet !
