SHOWER TIMES TWO !
RESIDENT GARDENS
Our residents have been working hard on their gardens all across campus . Some are helping TRAVELING to put in THE the WORLD Monarch Memory gardens while others are growing fresh vegetables and fruit ! The sunflower in the Stone Pear gardens has almost reached the roof !
There are many benefits to gardening beyond yummy veggies ! Gardening can help to improve your immune system from the Mycobacterium vaccae found in soil . It relieves stress and anxiety . Studies show digging in the dirt may reduce the risk of dementia . Gardening may not be as vigorous as swimming or riding a bike , but it is a great physical activity . And it makes you Happy , Happy , Happy !
BABY SHOWER TIMES TWO !
Our Peachtree Inn residents celebrated two of our very own with a double Baby Shower ! The Peachtree Inn dining area was lovingly decorated with baby fun so our residents could shower them with gifts and congratulations . Though their due dates are months apart , Alaynee and Missy shared this special occasion filled with smiles . Traditional games were played that included “ Guess How Many ”, Unscramble the Words and “ How Long ?” Winners received their choice of prizes .
The young ladies opened their gifts , and took special care to read each and every card of sweet baby wishes . Thank you for sharing this beautiful day with us !
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! Wishing you another year full of blessings !
