Romantic Love- An abiding love for a par tner with whom you feel passion, attr action,
caring and respect. You go out of your way to do things for your partner that they would
like. This type of Love is associated with the Root Chakra and the colour pink. Pink is a
tone of Red, which is about passion and energy the desire to act and ‘earth’ or make manifest. Pink is composed of red plus white, which imparts idealism, purity and innocence to the
red, softening its energy expression.
Eros- a passionate love usually involving sexual feelings for a love inter est. This type of
Love is associated with the Root Chakra and the colour Red, which is about sexual passion.
Infatuation- is a foolish or extr avagant attr action often of shor t dur ation that is lar gely
based upon fantasy and idealization (instead of experience) and those involved are blinded to
their differences by their mutual infatuation. This type of Love is associated with the Crown
Centre and colour Lilac. The Crown Centre governs our relation to the Higher Realms,
which can be powerfully spiritual or diluted into illusion and delusion.
Friendship Love- feelings of war mth towar ds a fr iend with whom you love to spend time with. This type of Love is associated with the
Heart Chakra and the colour Leaf Green. The Heart Chakra represents what you value and the sense of spiritual connection you have with
someone. This tone of Green is about the practical, supportive and nurturing qualities of relationships, including friendship. Leaf green specifically denotes growth along with that support.
