• The Clinton County SPCA is open to the public for adoptions, at 33 Mill Hill Road in Lock Haven. Our Fall Pet Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, October 4th, at Riverview Park in Lock Haven. • The Lycoming County SPCA is open for pet adoptions by appointment. A Low-Cost Vaccine & Microchip Clinic will be held on Saturday, August 8th, from 11am- 3pm. Appointments necessary. There is a $ 10 non-refundable deposit required to hold slot. Vaccines offered- Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, plus topical flea treatment. A Foster Kitten Adoption Event will take place on Saturday, August 22nd, 11am – 4pm at the shelter, 2805 Reach Road in Williamsport. Meet some of our adoptable kittens and cats from foster homes that are not typically available for viewing at the shelter. Staff will be focusing on same-day feline adoptions. • Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Highway in Centre Hall, is open to the public for adoptions at the shelter. We will be holding our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at the Skytop Mountain Golf Club in Port Matilda on Saturday, August 15th. $ 20,000 cash prize! Entry fee( cash only): $ 100 per person. • Centre County PAWS in State College is open to the public for pet adoptions. We will be holding our 6th Annual PAWS Patio Party, Saturday, August 29th, at 5:30pm. PAWS is located at 1401 Trout Road in State College. There will be dinner, music, raffle tickets, food and beverages available for purchase, and an amazing online auction.
