Dress Code Policy( K-12)
Please be sure that you and your student are familiar with our dress code policy for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. To assist you in preparing for some of the typical challenges we face each year, please check that last year’ s clothing fits properly. Please note that all colors must be SOLID and should not be variegated. Typical areas of caution are as follows: clothing should not fit tightly, and skirts / jumpers( Kindergarten through Grade 12) must always reach to the crease of the back of the knee( meaning the front of the skirt will typically fall below the knee). Remember that“ skorts” are not designed to be long enough for the CCS dress code, so they should not be used; jumpers must be the type that requires the dress code polo to also be worn with it.
Once again, please refer to the detailed dress code policy to be sure you and your student fully understand the dress code.
Used Uniform & Textbooks Give & Take
You can stop by the elementary building( in the balcony) on Thursday, 8 / 7, between 10 AM and 11 AM to view the used“ uniforms” we have on hand for the taking. You can also contact Autumn Sullivan at autumnndave @ hotmail. com( our volunteer parent) if you would like to“ order” some used uniform items from our storage; all used items are FREE! She can let you know what she has on hand for you!
Parents of students in Grades 6-12 may also stop by the McLain building on the same day and during the same hours to“ give and take” used books for the upcoming school year.
P. E. Uniform Requirements
All students in Grades 3 through 12 must wear our P. E. uniform to school for the full day on their scheduled P. E. days. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 2 may choose to wear the P. E. uniform to school on P. E. days if desired, or they may simply wear their regular dress code clothing on their P. E. days.
Please visit our online store to place your orders for our P. E. uniform. All orders must be placed by 8:30 AM on Friday, 8 / 8, and items will be sent home with your students after school begins.
