After 17 years and over 10 albums , Blake Christiana thought he knew how the music business worked - and the results left him empty . Gig after gig , mile after mile , he and his cohorts in Yarn had made all of the right moves - and for what ? In his mid-40 ' s , with a family to feed , Blake was ready to say " that ' s enough " - until he found himself in a recording studio working on a few ideas - and it suddenly all came together .
The result is Born Blessed Grateful and Alive , the spectacular new Yarn disc . The first new Christana songs in years offer hope , thankfulness , and an awareness that even if we have no idea what we are doing here , the way to amplify our presence is to help and care for others .
