She knows what she wants and she's not going to let anything get in her way. INDYA is a UK based Glam Rock band fronted by Natalie INDYA West. Her journey has not been easy, but proudly for her, from struggles she's now fighting strong with her debut EP and several amazing gigs coming up.
The 'Strip Me Down' album is pure sexy FILTH! The powerful energies enthral you whilst a fiery attitude is at the very core. The title track is just so damn hot with Natalie's vocal depths really shining. 'I cast a spell' has a touch of Country, moving onto a wickedly bitter chorus. I love 'Not A Line' with a seductive air that grips you. Each track gives you a wild need and a sense of empowerment.
Natalie unleashes her spirit with us in this interview.
Tell us about what you've been up to musically this year and what you have coming up?
This year I have been extremely busy. For a start, I wrote & recorded an EP called "Strip Me Down" which can be purchased on iTunes & other major online stores. I had quite a few of my songs played constantly on Kerrang! Radio, Total Rock & Team Rock Radio amongst 400 other Rock stations worldwide! So it has been very successful so far. I have also started writing a new EP called "Insane Love" which has had huge success so far and has been premiered on Kerrang! Radio. I've had a lot of online & magazine press. One of which in Terroriser Magazine which is out now in WHSmith Issue 283. One of my records made it onto their compilation Rock CDs, free with the magazine.
I've also done a lot of gigging. Some huge events which I've performed at was Noel Gallagher's aftershow party at O2 Liverpool, Glastonbudget Music festival, Camden Rocks Presents and I've just landed an amazing gig supporting Republica! It's the 4th Nov this year - so very excited!! In the meantime, I am gigging every month, twice a month. Take a look on my events page on my fan page INDYA as there's too much to name!!
