Music, Meaning and Memories

Music has always been a massive part of my life. You can always guarantee you will see me with my headphones in, shutting out the world, and drowning my ears with a song.

with music. I was 8 maybe younger and every Sunday my dad would take me to the corner shop to purchase a packet of Spice Girls photos (shameful I know). I would sit on the floor of the living room and carefully place the photos in my binder putting aside the one’s I needed to swap.

S Club 7 came into my life shortly after with me collecting all the videos and forever playing their CD on journeys in my CD player. ‘Never Had a Dream Come True’ although my favourite song isn’t entirety true as my dream to write for a magazine became a reality.

As I’ve grown older so has my music taste.
