GPS

Your GPS can't help you if you don't get behind the wheel, start the car, and put it in drive. Start moving. It doesn't even matter if you're going in the wrong direction - just GO.
The thing is, this is just not done the way you think it should be.
Instead of trying to solve the problem the old fashioned way, consider this:
Our minds LOVE to build and create and solve, solve, solve those problems. Give it a problem and it's like a cute little monkey with a pile of leggos, building, building, building endless bridges and such. Our mistake is in letting the monkey drive the car.
We've put our destination into our GPS, now distract your mind to keep it from crashing the car.
HOW?
There are a lot of supportive things we can give our minds to do during this process.
What we're going to do is to stop trying to solve the problem, and instead, allow our personal GPS to take us there. We have to be involved somehow, but let's not be the backseat driver. Let's not micro-manage god as we always do. Let's do something constructive and fun that helps the process along.
The first thing I suggest is making a Vision Board.
No, it's not a magical poster board, but it's a great tool and will serve several purposes for us.
You'll need to get the requisite tools:
Scissors, gluestick, a piece of posterboard and a stack of magazines.
Gather everything in one place and take a moment to re-state your destination in your mind. Then, start tearing our photos that call to you. Put all the pictures in a pile as you page through the stack.
When you're finished, take a moment to re-state the destination again: "My sister and I treat each other with respect." No go through the pile of pictures you're torn out and throw out the ones that don't fit. The next step is to glue these pictures to the poster board, but first get some pictures of yourself and your sister. If the pictures you've chosen are of people getting along, replace their faces with yours and your sister's.
Why do this?
A couple of reasons:
