These are only the tip of the netiquette iceberg! Can we talk offensive language (profanity), character attacks, cyber-bullying, taking things out of context, pushing your standards on others (or running amok without standards!) – these are all part of the net experience. Wander into Face Book on any given day, and you might be invited to use a plethora of apps that you have no clue about, have your page format changed at the will of the Face Book IT gods, or be arbitrarily added to groups that you might or might not have joined on your own.
My thoughts here – follow common courtesy. Do not say/do to someone else anything that you would not want said/done to you. Support those that you feel are being bullied, if you feel that they are not able to take care of the bully themselves.
. Block those that need blocking, but you don’t have to announce that to the world! Put your best face out there! If you make a miss-step, apologize! If you have misinterpreted something, admit it. Be the best citizen on the Internet that you can be.
Stepping down from the podium to leave you with a few musical links that I think might bring you pleasure.
