Remember that holy grail of ghost hunting that I mentioned earlier? I have been lucky enough in my ghost hunting career to capture not one, but two apparition photos! The Studio 207 apparition (photo 2) is a favorite as it was captured in a room that exited to a hallway which was monitored by a video camera. And that video camera shows that no one left the room at the time the apparition photo was shot. A definite thrill-chill moment! This location has so much activity that it was a natural selection when I was offered the opportunity this summer to investigate with NEPA Paranormal, another Pennsylvania-based team who had just finished their first season of televised programs. The CRPT became the first team to join NEPA and was featured in the Ghost Detectives season two premier! (watch that show at )
Who would have thought just a few short years ago that I would be walking around talking about spirit boxes and Shack hacks and selecting vacation locations based on their reported haunts! All I can say is that once you get that first bit of solid evidence you are hooked. And even though that second in which the evidence is captured is offset by hours and hours of investigative time in which nothing happens, it is truly powerful. Oh yeah, and did I mention the hours that you spend in front of a computer screen watching videos and reviewing photos. And the hours listening to your audio recordings? Not the most fun way to spend an evening or weekend…. But all worth it if you want to explore the unknown and to help others.
