bathroom, for several shots… and the next day when I put my memory card into the computer and started reviewing the photos I found the shadow that would thrill me, chill me, and fan the fire of desire to find more proof of the existence of ghosts!
Just one year ago I decided to step away from the group I was working with and formed my own paranormal investigative group, the Coal Region Paranormal Team, or CRPT. Our membership includes people from all walks of life – health care professionals, business managers, counselors, teachers and even students (we have a junior member who is a young teen). Our beliefs vary in religion and politics but we are all united in our desire to try to find evidence of life after death and to help others who are experiencing possible paranormal phenomena understand and hopefully gain a level of comfort dealing with their situation. Collectively the CRPT members have over 300 investigations under their belt - in private residences, local businesses, and in famed Pennsylvania haunts such as Fort Mifflin and the Old Jail at Jim Thorpe.
The CRPT offers investigations to those requesting assistance at no charge. We purchase our own equipment and have many of the latest “toys” to measure electromagnetic fields, capture images in full spectrum photography and videography, and to record EVPs. In an attempt to document and validate the presence of ghosts we investigate with an emphasis on science in a field that is still evolving. Once an investigation is complete we provide our client with a formal written report as well as a copy of any evidence we
have obtained. Most importantly, we remain available to our clients to answer questions and work with any further concerns regarding the paranormal.
