Dear Wendy: I have had a recurring dream for the past month. I’m in a huge library that has books, scrolls, wall size computer screens and a personal guide to show me my way around. This feels very spiritual but I wake up unable to grasp something very important about where I’ve been. In this dream I am myself, able to turn my head and see whatever I want. I can look down and see my bare feet. The library feels like an ancient and very hidden cave of some type. There are other people there and they are dressed in everything from flowing robes to modern clothing. Everyone is in bare feet and it’s not only quiet, it feels peaceful. The lighting is low but when you look at something it seems the light brightens so reading is easy. I think I’m actually going there – like it’s more than just a dream. M

Dear M: The library represents the books of life wisdom, some are ancient and mysterious and some provide modern access to valuable information and also someone who is knowledgeable and can guide you into greater understanding. You are a person who is very aware and have gone back to the womb of understanding. You look and learn and pay attention. You are in contact with the real world hence the feeling of lucidity and it is important to have one’s feet on the ground and be around grounded people who are like yourself, keen to be perceptive and live life intelligently and with peace and contentment. This is the crux of enlightenment. However, how can we take in all this vastness - all that we need to know for a lifetime? The demands are very great and you are likely to have this or similar dreams until such time as you realise what you have forgotten.

Dear Wendy: I have a recurrent dream that I am staying in a hotel and cannot remember the room number. I also have a similar dream where I am walking around my home town feeling very lost. I have described these dreams as ‘Where am I now?’ KJ
