Welcome to the year 2014! Happy New Year! I come today with “New Year Wishes” for all of us. The first one is this. I wish us all a year of wonder, curiosity, adventure and self discovery!! Second I also wish us year of phenomenal growth, exploration and self-mastery. I offer these wishes to give support and encouragement to all of us on our future endeavors. These intentions I offer have no strings, promises, or hidden agendas. I ask nothing of you. This is the time of year that we evaluate and make resolutions or intentions. Personally I think intentions require more work but will yield much more in return! The media, magazines, and TV shows are roaring at a pounding pace churning out their fair share of fear inducing propaganda as we speak.
As a Tarot reader by biggest goal is to empower people, to help them see things from a fresh perspective. I never want to take away their power or choice. I try to teach everyone that will listen that the tarot is a marvelous tool- just that- a tool that we can use to take ownership and responsibility of our lives. I have great respect for the Tarot, the Tarot is something to be respected, not to be worshiped or consulted for every single move we make. When we do not respect the Tarot we turn a lovely tool into an object of superstition and by doing this we abdicate our power and our autonomy. Beware of people who want to pray on your fear, insecurities and superstitions. These areas are very important concerns that need to be looked at but we need to honestly examine these areas and see where we may need to shift priorities and focus, or perhaps make some difficult changes and have some tough conversations.
I’m sharing three words and their definitions with you and the reason that I do so is not to be preachy or high handed. Honestly, it isn't. These three words have many things in common and though as if they are cousins perhaps, but they each reside at very different zip codes.
