Taking Control of Health

What actually does “holistic health” mean? Hearing this term brings a lot of thoughts to mind. Holistic treats the “whole” person, body, mind and spirit. Taking this approach and treating all aspects of a person is more apt to achieve a healing, not necessarily a cure, but a deep healing within the mind and the heart and soul. Although a cure is the intended outcome, the healing is what creates the harmony within the spirit, or soul, of the person. A holistic approach is not only about prevention, resulting in less money going out for medical treatments, but for peace of mind, vitality and a joy for basic living.

The reason the approach needs to address all aspects is because, the mind can create stresses, which in turn create a physical reaction. The physical reaction then can manifest in physical disease, from anything from a stomach ache to chronic and even fatal diseases. The reaction starts in the subtle body. First level (nearest the body) is called the aura, which can be seen once trained. Even though it cannot be seen by x-rays, it is very much a part of the total system of people.

Working with the entire system affords people to take healing into their own hands. What someone can do is to meditate on a daily basis and become aware of how and what they focus their attention on. Becoming aware of what and who you truly are leads to an inner awakening. You can learn to trust your inner senses and have a vibrant and fulfilling life. Another way a person can take control of their health issues is to exercise self-care by receiving hypnosis sessions. Once prevailing problems are addressed, sessions can continue to give a boost to their positive thought patterns.
