ATMS Members ’ Survey 2021 :
Informing the next Strategic Plan

In March 2021 , ATMS members were invited to complete a survey to guide the next Strategic Plan . A total of 1063 members responded . Members who participated in the survey reported being accredited to practise a total of 25 modalities ( Figure 1 ). The most practised modalities were Remedial Massage ( n = 752 respondents ), followed by Naturopathy ( n = 289 respondents ), Western Herbal Medicine ( n = 200 respondents ) and Acupuncture ( n = 139 respondents ).
Membership type
Most respondents ( n = 888 , 83.5 %) were Accredited , Fellow or Life Members .
