ATMS Member renewal 2021-2022 ATMS has released renewal fees for ATMS Accredited Membership to all members . The renewal fee for an Accredited Member will return to $ 250 including GST for the 2021-2022 year . This is the same Accredited Member fee that applied before COVID . We look forward to the continuing support of members for the work ATMS does on your behalf .
Fellow of ATMS renewal In 2020 / 2021 , ATMS offered a prestigious upgrade to be a Fellow of ATMS to practitioners who have been a continuous member for 10 years or more . Members who qualify have been invited to renew as a Fellow of ATMS for the 2021 / 2022 financial year . The voluntary renewal fee to continue as a Fellow of ATMS from 1 July 2021 is an additional $ 75.00 including GST .
Continuing as a Fellow of ATMS is optional and the annual decision is made at the time of renewing your membership – qualifying members can choose to be a Fellow of ATMS or an Accredited Member . Eligible members received a renewal notice with both options . Members can choose to pay $ 325 to be a Fellow of ATMS or alternatively to pay $ 250 to be an Accredited Member .
The benefits of being a Fellow of ATMS are :
1 . Use of the Fellow of ATMS 2021-2022 logo until end of the financial year ( 30 June 2022 )
2 . Extra CPE points for FREE . Access to a unique Vimeo channel which will include 4 x on-demand FREE webinar recordings per quarter ( prior to June 2022 ). There will be a mix of Chinese Medicine , Ingestive , Bodywork and Business topics available .
3 . Fellows will be invited to participate in a unique FREE Member Forum - roundtable style Q & A - one per quarter . This will be a live webinar style event .
4 . Receive the recognition you deserve and demonstrate credibility to your clients by displaying your Fellow of ATMS logo proudly across your website , email marketing and social media as well as in clinic .
The initial response to the new Fellow of ATMS has been a warm welcome , with good access to the quarterly benefits program . We look forward to continuing to develop this new initiative for members over the coming year .
CPE Audit 2020-2021 To maintain your professional standing , it is a requirement of ATMS and Health Funds that an Accredited Member undertake continuing professional education activities to the value of 20 CPE points each financial year . ATMS undertakes an annual random CPE audit of a minimum of 5 % of its accredited membership .
This annual Audit of CPE is now underway for the 2020-2021 year . Members who have been selected in this year ’ s audit have been notified and we are working closely with the audit group to finalise the audit .
The year under review includes extended periods of severe impact due to COVID , and ATMS understands that there may need to be special circumstances considered with some aspects of the audit due to COVID interruptions .
Database and website development programs The ATMS Board has approved 2 milestone projects in the operational development for ATMS . Over the coming months ATMS will invest significantly in both our database operating system and in the ATMS website .
The database transformation project is now underway and behind the scenes we have a solid project that will lead to a more efficient system for storing and reporting member data . An essential component of our database systems is the reporting to health funds and managing provider numbers and clinic addresses for the funds . At all times we work with the different rules and operating procedures of the health funds and must tailor our reporting in different ways for the different funds . This is a complex and time-consuming process that ATMS willingly does for members . Our current project will enhance our current systems and provide us a better operating environment to continue these essential member services .
At the same time ATMS will be working on a rebuild and refresh of our website . The ATMS website is a huge repository of critical information for members and has grown over time to cover a wide range of functions . Part of that growth has made the site a little unwieldy , and we plan a generational transformation that will allow a more focused user experience with ATMS through the website . We will look forward to sharing the new site with members in the coming months .
Both projects will be developed in a way that ensures that all current member services continue without interruption . The roll out of both programs will be thoroughly developed behind the scenes and tested before public launch .
We look forward to both these projects supporting the benefits of ATMS membership for years to come .
