I am excited to be a part of your
team here at Atlanta National
Golf Club. You have an incredible
facility and I look forward to
working with this team to improve
the golf course and operation for
you. Thanks to all of those that I
have had the opportunity to meet
so far, and I am sure that I will get to
know more of you soon.

We have a lot of exciting improvements that are going on right now
and progress is beginning to show. The first thing you may notice
is a dramatic landscape change around the clubhouse that will
improve the first impression of the facility for you and your guests. This
project was started a couple of weeks ago and will be complete
very soon.
Your golf course superintendent, Scott Slemp, has been working
very hard hiring and training many new turf care crew members
to begin restoring the course conditions that you deserve. New turf
equipment is now arriving and much needed fertilizer/chemical
applications have been made to different areas of the course to
improve turf health and quality. The greens have fully recovered
from the aerification he completed three weeks ago and the new
greens roller has helped restore the putting speed and quality.
I am very excited to be working with your golf staff here as well.
Dean Alexander has helped introduce me to many of you and, we
will be starting an Outside Services training program this week. We
are also happy to announce the promotion of Nelson Adcock to First
Assistant Golf Professional as he will be taking on more responsibilities
in our golf operation.
Chef Anthony Pickens and Leonard Tate have been a true pleasure
to get to know and see how the F&B Operations run as well. Mr. Tate
was actually the GM of a club that I spent time at earlier in life so,
it has been awesome to reconnect with him. We are working on a
schedule of social events that will provide you with some additional
reasons to visit the club and enjoy your membership
