NCAA Eligibility
responsibility . Captains must know they represent The Cornerstone Christian School , the coach , the team , themselves , and the Lord . They are to be role models for their teammates .
Team Managers
Coaches who desire to have team managers must inform the Athletic Director . Interested students will be provided with an application that must be completed and submitted to the Athletic Director . The Athletic Director and Secondary Level Principal will meet with the applicant to review the responsibilities and expectations for managers . To receive Career and Life Skills credit ( 0.25 per sport season ), the approved manager must submit to the Athletic Director the respective checklist following each game . Final award of credit is determined by the Athletic Director .
Officials
Each varsity-level sport will use board-certified officials who are assigned by the commissioner or coordinator from our local region ( Regional Board # 6 ). Junior Varsity or middle school athletics will utilize board-certified officials as available . When the school is responsible for providing officials , they will be arranged by the Athletic Director .
NCAA Eligibility
To be eligible to compete in Division I and II college athletics , athletes must be certified by the NCAA Clearinghouse . Information regarding the NCAA Clearinghouse may be obtained from the Secondary Level Principal . It is the responsibility of athletes to inform the administrator when this is desired .
