Evolution Turns Revolutionary with
SurroundVideo Omni
In 2014, Arecont Vision introduced the next gen-
eration of multi-sensors megapixel cameras, the
SurroundVideo Omni series that features omnidi-
rectional or adjustable views.
The initial SurroundVideo Omni (G1) offers a pat-
ented omnidirectional track that allows each of
the 4 megapixel sensors to be moved to cover
just about any view, from 180 to 360 degrees.
While bringing all the benefits of the panoram-
ic SurroundVideo cameras, the Omni series is
much more flexible when used in complex envi-
ronments due to this patented design.

The newly released SurroundVideo Omni G3
goes the final step, and it is the first to of-
fer truly revolutionary, full no-touch, remote
setup.
Featuring both motorized lens and gimbal mod-
els, installation and setup are faster than ever
with Omni G3. The installer hangs the camera
from a ceiling, wall, pole, emergency call box, or
other structure and plugs in the single IP cable,
just as with other Omni models.
With the G3, however, the installer now simply
dismounts the ladder or lift, without having to
touch or adjust any of the sensors while position-
ing the device.
SurroundVideo Omni G2 followed, with motor-
ized lenses for setup. This allows the installer to
hang the camera, point the 4 lenses individually
in the general area to be covered, and the dome
installed.

Off the ladder, the installer could pan, tilt, and fo-
cus the sensors to cover the exact view.
Both G1 (our most affordable Omni model) and
G2 offer low profile, indoor/outdoor day/night so-
lutions for enhanced non-stop situational aware-
ness, and offer a wide range of swappable lens
choices for complete coverage needs.
The installer accesses the camera’s integrated
webpage, and selects a preset view – 180, 270,
or 360o – and installation is done.
Should the preset view not be perfect, each of
the four sensors can be individually pan, tilted,
zoomed, and focused from the webpage. New
views can be saved as additional presets.
This means that when a situation changes –
