Making our way around! First look at UNACAS. The team was introduced to UNACAS, also known as, Unaccompanied Children Association. It is amazing how a very simple accommodation could be a place of joy and comfort, a home, to so many kids and adults alike. QUACK QUACK QUACK! Oink Oink! MOOO! On the 2nd day of arrival, the team was introduced to a small farm owned by UNACAS where they get part of their food and sell to earn income. It was a real eyeopener for many of the team members because not many of them had ever seen a real farm. It was really pleasant to see how kids over there can have fun while catching fishes, feeding the animals and tending to the rice fields.
