Overall shopping at ASOS we found it on a whole as a positive experience. As this experience is online we didn’t have to think about if the store assistants were knowledgeable/ helpful, whether the ambience of the store was positive and if the store was clean overall (all discounts bannered at the top of the screen). This peaceful, relaxing experience allows us to browser for hours on end without worrying about the opening times of the store or if others were waiting. All outfits on ASOS are set as a model modelling the garments with the possibility of ‘shopping the look’, brand and product knowledge without interacting with another human and the sizing range to hand.
Once we found the garment that we wanted to purchase as a test, we found it was the easiest experience imaginable. You can purchase by signing up with the company, Facebook, twitter or a google Gmail account. Once all the details were entered and the purchase confirmed, it was said to arrive in 3-5 working days and it did on time, right product, right place, absolutely perfect!
Everything is in one place, what a dream!
When returning the product we found that it was very simple and easy, the postage label was already paid for so all we had to do was take the package to the local post office and they send it straight back to us. The money was then later refunded back into my bank account with an email from the A‘ SOS Team’ thanking us for our service and asking us if there was anything they could do better next time to improve our customer experience.
