Anil & Santosh Bhanot
Anil Bhanot OBE is a chartered accountant and in his voluntary capacity works on community
issues which focus on faith. He is the Managing Director of Hindu Council UK and Vice Chair
of the Council of Dharmic Faiths UK. Anil is a trustee of the Peepul Centre, Chair of the Mosaic
Community Trust (MST) and a patron of the Kisch Trust and runs his own charity, the Rita Trust.

Santosh Bhanot has a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, and has worked as a Research Fellow at
Kings College London and Nottingham University in the field of biological sciences. Santosh is
currently developing the Asian Professional Women’s Circle in the UK for OXFAM which will aim
to help support vulnerable and poor women in the Indian Subcontinent.
