Rikky Hasan & Ambarina Rupawalla Hasan
Rikky Hasan is Chief Executive Officer at MTM Capital Partners, a London-based investment
management company which specialises in the energy, resource, infrastructure and
environment sectors, which he co-founded in 2003. Prior to founding MTM, Rikky worked for
Citicorp Investment. He was also a visiting lecturer at Durham University Business School.
Ambarina Rupawalla Hasan
Ambarina Rupawalla Hasan is London correspondent at HELLO! Magazine (Pakistan), Beauty
Editor for Khaleejesque and a programme maker at B4U TV. A beauty writer and journalist,
she has a Bachelors degree in Management Sciences from University of Manchester Institute
of Science and Technology. She was a beauty and lifestyle writer for BBC Asian Network, Asian
Woman magazine and Libas International Magazine and a blogger for Beauty Passionista,
Running in Heels and eStylista.
Ambika Hinduja & Raman Macker
Ambika Hinduja is a film producer and director whose credits include Teen Patti (2010), Being
Cyrus (2005), Lakshya (2004), and Yaadein (2001). She is the daughter of Ashok Hinduja, the
fourth son in the Hinduja family. The Hinduja Group, founded in 1914 by Parmanand Hinduja,
trades in finance, healthcare, energy and cars across the globe and the family is estimated to
have amassed a £4 billion fortune. She is married to Raman Macker who also invests in films.
In 2001, Raman Macker and Gaurav Batra opened Juhu’s first contemporary European fine
dining restaurant, Rain, and now are the directors of Dish Hospitality Pvt Ltd, owners of Sancho’s
and Aurus among other restaurants in Mumbai.
Nina Hossain & Stuart Thomas
Nina Hossain is an English journalist and an ITN News presenter. Nina was born in Huddersfield,
West Yorkshire and is of mixed Bangladeshi and English descent. She has a degree from the
University of Durham and then gained a Post-graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from
the University of Central Lancashire. Nina has worked at both the BBC and ITV and replaced
Katie Derham as a presenter of London Tonight in 2010. She has been with her partner Stuart
Thomas since the 2005.
Stuart Thomas is currently Head of BBC East Midlands, a role which he took up in 2009. He
was previously Editor, London Tonight between 2004 and 2009. He started as a Programme
Controller, LBC 1152AM & News Direct 97.3FM at ITN in 1999 before taking up a one year stint
News Editor, RI:SE on Channel 4 in 2002.
