Design outcomes - thermal performance without systems (tools: Grasshopper+Honeybee) Glare performance with shades and Visual comfort study (tools: Grasshopper+Honeybee) (Right) Glare analysis in the indoor spaces indicates that the shade parameters reduce the glare in the spaces down to within imperceptible glare levels year round. The simulations above show the adative comfort and daylight outcomes after applying the parameters in a part of the building, essentially verifying the validity of the simulations. It should be noted that the simulation disregards the affect of the ventilation through the microclimate created in the courtyard using foliage, shade and water fountain.
