Treatment Process
ASC Treatment’ s stem cell therapy begins with a simple health assessment of all our patients. This information will be collated and analysed by doctors to determine your suitability for undergoing stem cell treatment, as bodily conditions vary among individuals. Once that has been verified, you will be ready to undergo the treatment.
• Collection You will first come in to ASC Treatment’ s facilities for peripheral blood to be collected. Approximately 400mL of blood will be collected for stem cell conversion, depending on your fitness. More blood will equate to higher number of stem cells being cultured, and our partner physicians will endeavour to ensure that the best amount of blood is collected.
• Conversion The blood will then be sent for culture at the laboratory. The conversion process is safe and free from addition of viruses and reagents. This process takes up to 5 days and will yield a high number of stem cells.
• Reinfusion After culture, you will be invited back to the treatment clinic for the direct joint injection of stem cells. The prepared sample of concentrated stem cells will be injected into the target joint so that regeneration may occur. The image below illustrates joints that may be treated with stem cells, though treatment options are not limited to the joints depicted.
