Greater China Mainland China - The China Chapter recently hosted female leaders of industry for its Women in Aviation session. AsBAA’ s Women in Aviation work falls under the Advocacy pillar and is designed to promote equal opportunities and gender equality in business and general aviation. In addition, the skills workshop looks at traditionally male or female based training and ways in which it could be adjusted to be applicable to wider audiences. Hong Kong CEO Series – The Future of Transportation in the Greater Bay Area, China In Hong Kong, we recently hosted industry leaders for the third CEO Series event. The theme of the event was: The Future of Transportation Infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area. Our keynote speaker, Mr. Jason Ni, Assistant Professor at City University of Hong Kong, explored the Central Government’ s view on the future direction of civilian air transportation and airfield connectivity compared with that of Hong Kong SAR’ s view. We discussed the willingness of the two powers to collaborate and cooperate under the Belt and Road Initiative.
