'Knowledge Hunt - 2017'
Students have always been fascinated by Quiz programs since it encourage them to look beyond their academic studies and offer them a platform to showcase their depth in knowledge. Moreover it serves as a scale to measure the growth in knowledge, abilities and skills acquired by them either in general or specific. Realizing this fact ASAPians of GHSS Padinjarathara 2017 batch conducted 'KNOWLEDGE HUNT' a unique Quiz Contest as a part of World Youth Skill Day observation.
Mr. F.E.J Paul(Principal), Mr. Dineshan (Faculty coordinator), Mr. Githin Thomas (PM, Kalpetta SDC), Mr. Nizar K.M (SDE,GHSS Thariode), teachers and students turned out to witness the event, their esteemed presence added colour. The entire programme-planning, arrangements, invitation, publicity, selecting questions and preparing slides, anchoring and quizzing etc was done by ASAP students under the supervision of SDE and Coordinator.
The quizzing began with a short film made by two ASAP students depicting their experiences and the exposures they gained through ASAP. A total of 14 teams registered for the contest. 20 questions were asked in the elimination round and the top 6 teams were selected for the final round.
