Studio Beirut – an amazing short film that gives the audience an insight into Beirut in the 1960s; The Lebanese Rocket Society – this is a highly acclaimed film internationally, and deals with the little-known ‘space race’ in Lebanon; Hannah Has a Ho-Phase – a very ‘chick flick’ or ‘rom-com’ style film by a Lebanese-American director. A must-see for the ladies! We have such a great mix of films this year, which will be released with our full program from 23 July. The second Lebanese Film Festival will officially open on August 23 at the Bankstown Arts Centre in Sydney.
