want to do work with Flashwright
would apply in their category and
they would be placed on a list.
Flashwright would actively call
senior centers, ask if they would
like some entertainment for their
residents, and provide them with
various options if they were inter-
ested. The artists would get paid
from the grants and the senior
centers would get the benefit of
having free or nearly free enter-
tainment.
2019 FALL PREVIEW
Riddlesbrood also has plans to in-
corporate popup theater and virtual
venues into the company’s mix.
“We’re kind of uniquely posi-
tioned in terms of experience be-
cause Riddlesbrood is a for profit
theatre; we do a show and get
paid for a show,” explained Long.
“But over the years we’ve found
these gaping holes in the market-
place. One of the other ones is
with venues. There are theatres
which are closed most of the time
because they have very high rent
rates. What we want to do is cre-
