“They’re looking for somebody
to come and do a show for them,
but their budgets are so low that
no one can do a show for them,”
said Long. “So one of the things
that we decided to do is actually
use Flashwright as a way of letting
us offer free or highly discount-
ed entertainment - not just from
Riddlesbrood but pretty much
anybody to go and help seniors.
They seem to be highly under-
served as a community, especially
in the New Jersey area.”
Technically Flashwright is a sepa-
rate organization from Riddles-
brood, although they have a “Part-
nership agreement” and have
some shared Board members.
Flashwright applied and received
its 501C3 status and will hold its
first fundraisers in September
at the Cranbury Inn with perfor-
mances on Thursday, September
19 at 7:00pm and Friday, Septem-
ber 20 at 7:00pm. Reservations
are $59 per person ($20 for 12
