I love how you have wine as
part of your brand. Could you
ever have imagined you’d be
drinking on the Internet with
20,000 fans?
No! I said to my girlfriend the
other day, if I knew that all it took
was opening a bottle of wine, I
could have saved myself a lot of
time!
It’s been very interesting. We
used to have a show when
Chardonnay Go went crazy.
Originally the show was called
Chardonnay Go Live and it was
Fridays at noon. Then one night
we decided to make up a new
holiday called Wine O’Ween. It’s
the day after Halloween where
you just eat your kids’ candy and
drink wine. So we decided we
were going to go live on Wine
O’Ween at 9 o’clock at night. We
didn’t do any promotion whatso-
ever and 9,000 people showed
up! I was like what is that? That
was kind of the beginning of
Tipsy Tuesday.
