Youngest ever to win the Wind- sor Festival International String Competition, Nathan Meltzer has played solo violin with the Orches- tre national d’Île-de-France, the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Or- questa Filarmónica de Medellín, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Con- cepción, the Berliner Symphoni- ker, the Pittsburgh Symphony, the Indianapolis Symphony, and the Adelphi, Bloomington, Charlotte Civic, Evansville, and Muncie or- chestras, among others, perform- ing in Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Switzerland, the UK, and across the US.   During the 2019-20 season, Na- than performs at the Musical de l’Orne in France, Giardini La Mor- tella in Italy, and in Denmark with the Aalborg Symfoniorkester.  In November he gives the Gessner Schocken recital at the Longy School of Music in Cambridge and records his first CD with Rohan de Silva on the Champs Hill label in the UK.  In the spring he returns to North Carolina to play the Brahms Franck, Violin Sonata in A major by Nathan Meltzer and Evren Ozel 2019 FALL PREVIEW INDEX NEXT ARTICLE 22
